Glossary Entry »AR glasses« (GL-2)

Wearable Augmented Reality (AR) devices that are worn like regular glasses and merge virtual information with physical information in a user's view field. With the help of AR glasses users can access the AR system and see the 3D models of furniture directly in their room without having to look at a smartphone.

Relevance for the planned software system
Users need AR glasses or a smartphone to be able to use the system. In comparison to using a smartphone, AR glasses can offer a better user experience when using the system.
