Description

Michael Peck is a 35 year old IT specialist from a village in Germany (3). He works in a big company in the next city and has a Bachelors degree in applied informatics which helped him get a good position at the company (4). He lives in his house with his wife and daughter which he loves more than everything (5). His house is rather small but sufficient for his familiy (6). Also they have a small garden where they can relax (7). Michael really values comfort which is why he chose to move from the city to the village (8). His wife is very similar - she works a lot in the garden in her free time to create a colorfull, cozy environment for her family to relax in (9). Especially after a long shift, Michael loves nothing more than to return home and chill in the garden with a beer and his family (10). When the couple moved to the house in the village, they spent much time on decoration (11). They planned the room designs beforehand, picked fitting furniture and arranged the rooms until they were perfect in their eyes (12). Every now and then, they like to redecorate for maximum cozyness (13). For both, relaxation is just so important to cope with Michaels stressful job and the stressful adult life in general (14). Also they want to provide the best environment for their daughter (15). For these decoration projects, Michael tried out different applications on his smartphone or laptop (16). From his profession he knows a lot about technology and has no problems dealing with complicated tools (17). Although, he noticed that there are not too many existing apps on the market which he could use and each of them did not convince him totally (18). This was because of bad usability, long response time, bugs etc (19). Michael would really like a way of trying out new room designs easily as the family had to return many ordered furniture used in planning because it did not fit in real life (20). Also Michael is fed up with having to move furniture by himself (21). His wife is not strong enough to do so and to try things out, changing things is important (22). He would really like a solution to this to fulfill his goals which are keeping his house as cozy and as comfy as it can get and to use the space of the rather small house very efficiently (23).
